Zoomarine/Slide&Splash/Aqualand/Culture

Zoomarine – An experience not to be missed! Zoomarine superbly combines education and fun in this aquatic zoo. There is the classic aquarium with sharks and conger eels and adjacent to the paths and gardens are a myriad of ponds and enclosures of flamingoes, turtles and alligators. During the day, the dolphins and seals participate in performances, which are highly entertaining and educational. However, the ultimate experience is the opportunity to "swim with the dolphins" which entails a 90 minute familiarisation session and pool time with the dolphins.

Slide & Splash – A fantastic day can be enjoyed by all the family at this premier water park. Set in extensive lawns, make a base from which to watch the youngest members of your family. There is the huge baby and toddler pool with slides, fountains and showers all set in water less than knee height. Then there are the 50 or more water slides starting with the beginner slides each being progressively more adventurous culminating with the "Black Hole": a 1 minute bare knuckle ride in complete darkness! Finally, there is the swimming pool, which is said to be one of the biggest in the country.

Aqualand – This water park is also extensive, set in 6 hectares of grounds, offering rides and water slides to cater for the even more adventurous.

Culture – Experience the ambience and architecture of some truly historic and cultural towns and cities. Highlights include, Seville, only 2 hours drive from the villa; Gibraltar again only 2 hours drive; Lisbon, Portugal’s capital city; Silves, the old Moorish capital with imposing castle and cathedral, only 15 minutes drive away; Monchique with it’s famous spa, Evora a UNESCO world Heritage site and Foia, the highest point in the Algarve providing panoramic views.
